How did the business begin?
I learned how to frame from some of the best framers in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas. As an industry sales representative, I had the good fortune to visit with framers though out my sales territory for several years. When the City of Dallas began major renovations to the Bishop Arts District, it was time bring what I had learned home.
Tell us about the owners. Tell us about your employees.
Our founder, Vikki Espinosa operates the business on a full time basis. She is assisted by Judi Arazoza, who has been framing with us for 6 years. Both Vikki and Judi are excellent designers and extremely meticulous about quality and most importantly proper handling of art.

We are most appreciative for 9 wonderful years in business in Oak Cliff and we thank our neighbors in the surrounding neighborhoods for their support and continued loyalty. The majority of our business is from North Oak Cliff, however we do enjoy the support of people who work in the area but live outside of Oak Cliff.
Do you live in Oak Cliff? What neighborhood? Why did you choose to locate in Oak Cliff?
Yes, Vikki lives in Stevens Park Estates. We stumbled into Oak Cliff by accident, and as soon as we crossed the Trinity, it jsu tfelt like home.
Tell us about your involvement in the Oak Cliff Community?
Vikki has served as a board member in the Stevens Park Estates Neighborhood Association, The Oak Cliff Chamber of Commerce and the Bishop Arts Merchants Association.
Why would you consider yourself a local business in Oak Cliff?
Bishop Arts Custom Framing was conceived, born and thrives in Oak Cliff. We do not have any other locations. We were here when the streets in the Bishop Arts District were all torn up and before its was the cosmopolitan destination it has since become. We support many of this wonderful neighborhood’s community activists that are so passionate about their causes. We believe that this community is a better place to live because neighbors help neighbors.
